8.4" and 12.1" NCR replacement/refurbishment monitor

NCR replacement/refurbishment monitors come in many different sizes(inches) and I’m going to discuss the sizes(inches) I’ve sold.

I have sold 3 sizes, 8.4”, 12.1” and 15”, both NB(normal brightness) and HB(high brightness or sunlight readable).

To my knowledge and based on my experience, 8.4” and 12.1” were popular and very good sellers among my buyers.
I would say 8.4” is a tad bit more popular than 12.1”.
I had a bit of a problem with 15” and eventually stopped making them.

The price difference between NB monitor and HB monitor is huge. HB monitor is more than twice as expensive as the NB monitor.

Every buyer is different and some would just take what I offer and some would request slight modifications.

For example, some buyers will ask to add a bracket on the back of a monitor or bezel on the front cover of a monitor.

But while it takes about a week to do the job, it really isn’t difficult to do.
The important things are the quality of the panel, and a board that can work with NCR program.

In my next post, I will discuss the components that make up NCR replacement monitor.
